New!!!

What up everyone. I haven't posted a blog in a while. I've been busy with school and trying to find a new house with my sister. I decided I wanted this blog to change. So, I decided I'm going to start reviewing horror movies. Some will be good movies, some will be bad, and they will be all from my point of view. So stay tuned as my 1st review will be the New Line Cinema's 2002 "Jason X"

Horrorhound 0'8

Yooo what up!! Today is the 8Th anniversary of 9/11, which I believe to be a conspiracy , but thats a whole different topic that I could go on for hours. The following picture that I've posted is of myself and Bill Mosoley, who played Otis B. Driftwood from House of 1,000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects and Choptop from Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, at Horrorhound 0'8 Horror Movie Convention that took place at the now destroyed Radison Hotel in Monroeville. The convention went from June 22-24. My sister, an employee there at the time, got free passes to attend and I've known about the convention for months and there was no way I was passing that up.
We went on the 23rd which was a Saturday. As we were walking in, there were so many people there. Some of them were dressed up in in costumes from their favorite horror movie. I felt out of place because I was just wearing a Halloween shirt, but oh well. As the security guards checked our passes, we walked into the convention. As soon as we walked in, there were celebrities along the right wall. I wanted to go straight to the celebrities , but the lines were so long that my sister and i decided to just look around first. Walking around, we saw many different booths where vendors were selling anything from horror movies, movie posters, movie props ,clothing ,costumes, books, action figures, and anything and everything that had to do with horror movies. After walking around and seeing what the booths had to offer, we decided to head over to the celebrities. The first celebrity my sister and I met was J Larose. He played Troy in Saw 3. J started talking to my sister first because she actually checked him into the hotel that she was working at. Standing there waiting to say hi, he looked at me and asked who I was. I told him my name and said I was Brandi's, my sister, brother. From already knowing my sister, he told me that I could get an autograph for free!!! After meeting J, my sister and I moved down the tables and met Danielle Harris who played Jamie Lloyd from Halloween 4 and 5 and she played Annie Brackett in Rob Zombie's Halloween remake. She was happy because I was wearing a Halloween 4 shirt which she starred in. I ended up getting a picture with her. I also met and got autographs from Jason Mewes, Jay from Clerks, Dogma, Mallrats, and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back and Daeg Farech, young Michael Myers from Rob Zombie's Halloween remake. Then we headed to the last celebrity I wanted to meet, Bill Mosoley. I was always a big fan of his since i saw him play Choptop in Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2. Waling up, I began to grow anxious and nervous because he's one of my favorite actors. We walked up to his table and we greeted each other and shook hands. We talked for about a minute about what movies he's doing and different topics. I then asked him for an autograph and asked him to pick his favorite picture and he chose one from The Devil's Rejects and he joked that he liked to call the picture "Bloody Beefcake." He signed the picture and I asked him for a picture which he said he'd be more then happy to take a picture. After the picture, my sister and I decided to go buy some things. I ended up buying a Friday the 13th shirt, a replica Camp Crystal Lake sign and a Friday the 13th 3-D poster. As we were leaving, Jason Mewes was coming towards us and said "Alright Deven, I'll see you later." It was an awesome day and I'll never forget it for as long as I live.
